Tanya apa saat wawancara?

Kami selalu berkata, jangan lupa bertanya saat wawancara, jangan cuma menjawab seperti robot. Tetapi, pertanyaan apa yang harus kamu tanyakan? Inilah beberapa ide pertanyaan yang bisa kamu tanyakan saat wawancara, tapi gunakan hanya kalau pantas!

1. Kalau saya mendapat pekerjaannya, apa saja hal yang Anda ingin lihat saya lakukan?

Contohnya, apa saja ekspektasinya?

2. Seperti apakah gaya kepemimpinan Anda?

Tapi berhati-hatilah kalau dia berkata, “Oh, saya sangat terbuka…”

3. Kompetitor mana yang paling Anda kuatirkan? Hal apa yang membuat Anda “susah tidur”?

Jangan lupa riset tentang kompetitor perusahaan sebelum bertanya.

4. Seperti apakah gaya bekerja di sini? Orang seperti apakah yang sukses di perusahaan ini?

5. Pengalaman dan latar belakang industri/fungsional/keterampilan apakah yang Anda cari untuk posisi ini? Seperti apakah kandidat yang “sempurna”? Bagaimana pengalaman saya menurut Anda? Apakah ada gap antara pengalaman saya dan kandidat yang sempurna?

6. Apakah filosofi perusahaan saat memilih calon karyawan?

Apakah “pilih yang sikapnya baik, lalu ajarkan keterampilannya” atau orang-orang berpengalaman yang bisa langsung mulai dengan gesit?

7. Seperti apakah proses penilaian kinerja di sini, agar saya bisa memastikan kinerja saya yang terbaik?

8. Seperti apakah ritme kerja di sini?

Apakah konsisten sepanjang tahun, atau ada beberapa bulan yang lebih sibuk dari yang lain?

What questions should you ask during an interview?

So we keep stressing about asking intelligent questions during interviews instead of just answering them like a robot. What sort of questions should you be asking then? Perhaps you can keep these in mind when you go in for that all-important interview, but use only when applicable!

1. If I get the job, what do you need to see for me to do well on the job?

For example, what are your expectations?

2. What is your leadership style?

But take it with a large pinch of salt if he says “oh, I’m very open…”

3. Which competitor worries you the most? What keeps you up at night?

4. What is the working style here – what sort of people are successful here?

5. What type of industry/functional/skills-based experience and  background are you looking for in the person who will fill this  position? What would the “perfect” candidate look like? How do you  assess my experience in comparison? What gaps do you see?

6. What is the company’s hiring philosophy?

Is  it “hire the attitude/teach the skills” or are you primarily looking to add  people that can hit the ground running?

7. What is the performance review process like in the company so that I can ensure that I am doing the best I can for the company?

8. What is the rhythm to the work around here?

Is it consistent throughout the year, or periods of peak activities and it’s all hands on deck?
